Tribute to Juan Manuel Fangio Day 2 Transfer of Remains to the Fangio Museum and VIP Lunch at The Juan Manuel Fangio Racetrack

The second day of the tribute started at the Balcarce Cemetery to transport the remains to the new mausoleum at the Fangio Museum where they will rest. Escorted by Police Motorcycles they tour the school, workshops and places he used to live followed by a caravan of cars from the museum and car clubs. Once at the Museum, a ceremony was held and Sir Jackie Stewart gave an emotional speech. 

A Lunch followed at the Fangio racetrack for special guests.

Tribute to Juan Manuel Fangio Day One Press Conference and Cocktail at The Provincial Hotel Mar del Plata Argentina

The press conference was lead by Sir Jackie Stewart and Horacio Pagani also included were Manuel Mantilla CEO Mercedes Benz Argentina, Juan Carli President of Fangio Fundation, Guillermo Montenegro Mayor of Mar del Plata, Esteban Reino Mayor of Balcarce and Oreste Berta car designer

Sir Jackie Stewart told several heartfelt stories "Fangio was the best driver I ever saw racing, Argentina should be proud and lucky to have him" 

Horacio Pagani also said "I owe my career to Juan Manuel Fangio, he was the one who opened the doors of Europe to me.

Following the press conference, the Mayor of Mar del Plata and Balcarce recognize Sir Jackie Stewart as an "Illustrious Citizen"

A Cocktail concluded the evening in the Circular Salón of the Hotel.
