The British Embassy in Argentina celebrated the 75th birthday of His Majesty's King Charles III at the Ambassador's residence in Buenos Aires, with more than 900 guests including politicians, businessmen, ambassadors, academics, artists, journalists, and special guests. The British ambassador, H.E. Kirsty Hayes, took the opportunity in her speech to congratulate the president-elect Javier Milei on his recent electoral victory.
Also, she mentioned that Argentina and the United Kingdom have a long and rich bilateral relationship and we will continue to promote ties between Argentines and the British.
The speech was followed by the Anglo-Argentine actress and singer Lucila Gandolfo, who sang the national anthem of Argentina and the United Kingdom. Then the group Master Stroke paid live tribute to the British band Queen, followed by music from disc jockey Maxi Martina.
The ambassador H.E Kirsty Hayes cut the traditional birthday cake that she shared with the guests present.
