Art of Motoring - private view
The Royal Automobile's ninth annual exhibition of motoring and motorsport art was held at the prestigious auction house.
There was a major move in the ninth year of the Art of Motoring as the week-long complimentary exhibition was moved from Pall Mall to one of Sotheby’s main galleries. The Bond Street location allowed the curators to include more artists and allowed additional space to exhibit their work which covered everything from the latest 3D printed sculptures to traditional oil and watercolors. The artists exhibiting included many of the top names of the genre including Michael Turner, Dexter Brown, Tim Layzell, John Ketchell, Jonny Ambrose, Adam Gompertz, and the Ferrari Formula1 driver and Le Man's winner Stefan Johansson from Sweden.
