The British Embassy in Argentina celebrated the 77th birthday of His Majesty King Charles III at the Ambassador's residence in Buenos Aires, with more than 700 guests, including politicians, business leaders, ambassadors, academics, artists, journalists, and special guests. His Majesty's Ambassador, H.E. David Cairns, took the opportunity in his speech to mention that Argentina and the United Kingdom are marking the 200th anniversary of their bilateral relationship, and will continue to promote ties between the two countries.
Maria Alvarez de Toledo sang the national anthems of Argentina and the United Kingdom. Followed by a live performance by an Oasis tribute band, and to end the night, music by DJ Maxi Martina.
The Ambassador's Wife, Sharon Cairns, cut the traditional birthday cake, which she shared with the guests present.
