Porte Noire was born out of a shared passion for wine between award-winning actor Idris Elba and wine expert David Farber. They started the project after visiting the Sanger Viticultural School in Champagne in 2018, which now makes their Champagnes. They presented the Porte Noire 2013 Grand Cru Selectionné par Idris Elba with a Party at The Ivy Club.
