Every year, the Serpentine Pavilion unveils a new design by an emerging architectural designer.
Hans-Ulrich Obrist and Bettina Korek, unveiled and celebrated the 25th annual pavilion titled Serpentine, designed by Mexico City-based firm LANZA atelier, founded by Isabel Martinez Abascal and Alessandro Arienzo.
This is the first pavilion constructed with bricks, and the duo took inspiration from an English architectural feature known as a "Serpentine", which is typically a wavy wall made of brick.
